Trojans shut out visiting Yough, 41-0
North Catholic retained a share of first place in the Big East Conference with Derry and Elizabeth Forward after the Trojans defeated visiting Yough, 41-0, Friday night.
The Trojans improve to 6-1 in the conference and 8-1 overall. The Cougars slip to 3-4 in the Big East Conference and 3-6 overall.
Cam Branch led North Catholic with 123 yards rushing on nine carries, including touchdown runs of 7 and 5聽 yards.
Anthony Serventi scored the first two touchdowns for the Trojans on runs of 4 and 25 yards. Rashod Allen had a 15-yard touchdown run and Zach Rocco hit Nick Marra for a 41-yard touchdown pass.
Yough’s Dustin Shoaf gained 77 yards rushing on 18 carries.
