Crusaders defeat visiting West Greene, 74-49
Bishop Canevin outscored visiting West Greene in each quarter Friday night for a 74-49 victory in the Section 2-A opener for both teams.
The Crusaders (1-0, 3-2) led 32-22, 50-33 and 63-44 at the quarter breaks.
Benjamin Jackson led the way for the Pioneers (0-1, 0-4) with a game-high 23 points and 15 rebounds. Austin Crouse finished with 14 points and Corey Wise added 10.
Kevaughn Price led Bishop Canevin with 21 points. Nevan Crossey scored 18 and Dom Elliot added 16.
