Yough defeats Lady Gators, 44-20

Yough broke open a close game by outscoring host Geibel Catholic 14-4 in the second quarter on its way to a 44-20 non-section girls basketball win Tuesday.

The Lady Cougars led 6-4, 20-8 and 37-12 at the breaks.

Laney Gerdich led Yough (2-5) with 10 points. The Lady Gators (0-4) got seven points apiece from Gayle Pokol and Alex Caldwell.
