Raiders fall at Quarker Valley, 28-13
Waynesburg Central kept the Tri-County West Conference game close Friday night, but Quaker Valley pulled away in the third quarter for a 28-13 home victory.
Darnell Johnson tied the game in the second quarter on a 25-yard scoring run, but Quaker Valley answered with Donovan Cutchember’s 31-yard touchdown run.
Trevor Stephenson scored the second touchdown for the Raiders (0-5, 2-5) on an 85-yard kickoff return. Stephenson carried the ball 23 times for 114 yards.
