Big second half lifts Prexies past Charleroi, 42-14

Washington scored 28 unanswered points in the second half Friday night to rally past visiting Charleroi, 42-14, for an Interstate Conference victory.

The game was tied 14-14 at halftime.

Legend Davis accounted for both scores for the Cougars (0-1, 0-1). He scored on a 59-yard punt return in the first quarter and added a 9-yard touchdown reception from Alex Conrad in the second quarter.

Zahmere Robinson led the way for the Prexies (1-0, 2-0) with 233 yards rushing, including scoring runs of 12, 61 and 80 yards.

Zack Swartz had touchdown passes to Isaiah Edwards (8 yards) and Amari Miller (33 yards).

Washington outgained Charleroi, 445 yards to 198, including 351 yards rushing.
