Charleroi shut out visiting Riverview Friday night, 56-0, for a non-conference victory.

Alex Conrad had touchdown passes of 37 yards to Ethan Codeluppi and 37 to Evan McGuire in the second quarter, and scored the game’s first touchdown on a 17-yard run.

Brayden Milhalcin scored on runs of 6, 34 and 22 yards in the third quarter. Milhalcin finished with 131 yards rushing on 19 carries.

Nikko Pellegrini had touchdown runs of 42 and 16 yards in the fourth quarter. He finished with 78 yards rushing on eight carries.

Joey Caruso was 8-of-8 on his point-after kicks for the Cougars (1-1). Codeluppi had three interceptions.
