Gateway scored 35 points in the first quarter Friday night and didn’t look back for a 49-0 non-conference victory over visiting Ringgold.
The Gators’ Bryson Venanzio completed 8-of-12 passes for 210 yards and touchdown passes of 63, 15, 60 and 17 yards.
Ringgold slips to 0-5 overall, while Gateway improves to 4-1.
