Leopards roll to 43-3 win at Greensburg Salem
Jared Hartman had three touchdown passes and ran for another to lead Belle Vernon to a 43-3 win at Greensburg Salem Friday night in Big Eight Conference action.
Hartman opened the scoring with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Pacek. The Golden Lions’ Wyatt Ramer followed with a 22-yard field goal.
Hartman had touchdown passes of 5 yards to Nolan Labuda and 71 to Pacak in the second quarter. He also scored on a 5-yard run. Hartman completed 12-of-17 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns.
Larry Callaway added an 11-yard touchdown run to help the Leopards (3-1, 4-1) build a 36-3 halftime lead.
Callaway closed the scoring on a 5-yard run in the third quarter. He finished with 111 yards rushing on 16 carries.
Pacak caught three passes for 136 yards, while Devin Whitlock had four receptions for 66 yards.
Greensburg Salem is 2-1 in the conference and 2-4 overall.
