Peters Twp., McGuffey win TriCADA golf titles

Peters Twp. dominated the big school leaderboard, while McGuffey posted the low score for small schools in Friday’s TriCADA Golf Tournament held at Nemacolin Country Club.

Peters Twp. posted a team score of 374. Colton Lusk was medalist with 71. Griffin Hansberry (73), Ryan Watterson (77) and Jackson Baxter (79) broke 80.

South Fayette finished second among the big schools with a team score of 388. Sam Bishop (74), Jackson Stephens (79), Brady Newman (76), and Randy Fisher (79) all scored under 80.

Peters Twp.’s second squad was third at 402. Nick Hought (77), Camden Reyes (75), and Finn Sobehart (76) broke 80.

Uniontown finished with a team score of 476. Trevor Uphold and Brody Schiffbauer both shot 91 for the Red Raiders.

Laurel Highlands shot 515. Sevi Vecchiolla was the low Mustang with 87.

Albert Gallatin finished with a team score of 520. Caeden Williams was the low man with 81.

Ringgold shot 527.

McGuffey won the small school title with 424.

Frazier finished with a team title of 434. Dylan Keilbach was the Commodores’ low man with 78. Aiden Hardy shot 84 and Travis Smith finished with 85.

Charleroi scored 426 with Jake Corrin carding 80. Beth-Center finished with 477, sparked by Luke Amon’s 83.

Jefferson-Morgan shot 483 and was led by Uriah Teasdale’s 79.

Carmichaels finished with a team total of 494. Bentworth shot 577.
