Ernest Q. Williams, 88, of Fairbank, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026. He was born September 5, 1937, in Ralph, son of the late Daniel and Lillie Pearl Andrews Williams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all his siblings.
He is survived by his children: Felicia M. Williams, Naomi P. Williams and Craig S. (Jennifer) Williams, all of Uniontown, Joanie L. (Octavian) Johnson of Hersey, Ahmad Lamar Williams of Youngstown Ohio, Renee L. Williams and Keegan Holden of New Castle and Ernest Ford of Youngstown Ohio. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ernest worked as a carpenter, bricklayer, and was a certified auto mechanic. Ernest was a past member of Rebecca Star Masonic Lodge #45 A.F.A.M. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, college and NFL football, reading and was a honorary member of the Library of Congress and National Geographic Society.
