South Strabane man arrested in road rage incident

South Strabane Township police arrested a man Friday after he was accused of assaulting a woman in a road rage incident. Krishnakumar Kandasamy, 38, of South Strabane, faces a felony aggravated assault charge. According to the criminal complaint, police officers were called at about 6:40 a.m. Friday to the intersection of East Beau Street and Trinity Point Drive. South Strabane Township police Chief Drew Hilk said Kandasamy and Lisa Jane Eckert were stopped in the left turning lane on East Beau Street to turn into Trinity Point. Uniontown man charged for DUI with child in back seat

Monongahela police charged a man Friday for driving under the influence with his 4-year-old child in the vehicle. Christopher Aaron Fisher, 35, of Uniontown, faces a felony charge of endangering the welfare of children, and misdemeanors of reckless endangerment and DUI. According to the criminal complaint, police were called shortly after 10 p.m. April 6 to the 100 block of Third Avenue in New Eagle. Police were initially informed by dispatchers that the 4-year-old had contacted 911, but later learned the call had been placed by her mother. Uniontown woman charged with assaulting boyfriend

A Uniontown woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend during an altercation at their residence Saturday night. Latica Lewis, 34, allegedly gave Christopher Greer a deep puncture wound to his arm during the argument, which court documents said took place around 4 a.m. at their home on Pershing Court. Greer told police after stabbing his arm, Lewis attempted to stab him approximately 60 more times, though he fended most of the blows off with a pillow. Both were transported to WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital. Contractor for Greene County home accused of home improvement fraud

A West Virginia independent contractor is facing charges after allegedly failing to finish work on a Greene County home. Michael Brown, 62, of Maidsville, W.Va., had made a verbal agreement in October 2023 to perform work on the house in Greensboro, according to the criminal complaint. Homeowner Diane Pilon, who lives in Morgantown, W.Va., told police her family paid Brown the agreed-upon fee of $57,000 over the next two years. Brown has yet to finish the work, and was not responding to the Pilons’ requests for updates, the complaint said.
